WAYNE ROONEY IS A SILLY BOY
WAYNE ROONEY has been carpeted by his boss Sir Alex Ferguson – for being too keen.
Manchester United’s England star could miss today’s trip to Wolves, and Fergie says it’s all his own fault.
The United boss says the 24-year-old should have asked to come off long before the end of England’s game with Egypt on Wednesday.
Fergie said he had no complaints about Fabio Capello selecting Rooney, three days after the player headed the winning goal in the Carling Cup final on Wembley’s heavy pitch.“I was more disappointed with Wayne,”said Fergie. “He didn’t come off. I couldn’t believe it and, now, he’s a doubt for tomorrow.” @DailyStar
