Mourinho: "No fear against Chelsea"
There will be no Champions League verdict after the ninety minutes at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday night, according to José Mourinho. “The first match is important but the second match is even more important, because it’s the second match that decides everything,” the Inter coach told a packed press conference in Appiano Gentile ahead of the first leg of his team’s last sixteen tie with Chelsea. “You usually end the first match without knowing who gets to the quarter-final, when you finish the second match you know.”
Blues boss Ancelotti told the British press that the whole of Italy will be cheering on Chelsea, but being popular or unpopular is no concern for the Inter coach. “If he says that, it’s maybe because he knows, or because somebody told him, or because maybe he belongs to the clan,” said Mourinho. “I just do my job as always. I’m here to play him, I’m here to play a game of football, which is one of the things I have liked most since I was a child. And nothing more than that. I’m happy to play this game tomorrow.” @Inter
